New Album for 2011 Tamworth Festival

G'day Everyone,

It's hard to believe another year is almost over. Sorry I miss the bulletin as it's been a very very busy time both with work and music. Recent shows include, The Cedar Guitars at Lismore and as always I had a great time thanks Marge Graham and dedicated band of  helpers.

Than it was off to Texas for the annual Country Round Up and although the rain made things a bit difficult the show still went on. Congratulations to Evelyn and John and all of the helpers for putting on such a great show in very trying circumstances. The following week I performed at Poley's Place again a very wet weekend but as usual another great show, a big thanks to Rose Everett and the volunteers I had a great time.

I also had the pleasure of performing at the inaugural Woolomin Festival as part of the LBS Showcase. This is a festival that I'm sure will grow from strength to strength over the next few years, congratulations to the organisers.

During the year I have been working on my new album, circumstances have made getting into the Studio very difficult but we have finally managed to finish recording and as I write this, the album is being mastered and final touches are being made to the cover design.

The Album has once again been produced by Lindsay Butler at LBS Studios in Tamworth and to say that I'm very happy with the result would be an understatement . The New Album will be released at Hexham Bowling Club on the 21st of November with a concert featuring my good friends Slim Newton, Christina George, Lynette Guest, and The LBS Show Band.

The title of the new album is "Staying True" and it has three cover songs and nine originals.
